”I truly love Sammy because I nursed him ever since he was a small child” Said Samuel’s stepmother striking a conciliatory tone.
As we related with the boy, we learnt that his relationship with the stepmother back at home was not entirely good. Samuel Milembo, now fourteen years old, has never known his biological mother and felt that his step mother never appreciated him as the first-born even as much as he is obedient and bonds with his siblings well. This made him to find solace in the streets feeling that he could not confide in his dad whom he felt was preoccupied.
“I am so glad for your efforts of bringing my son back home…I have always offered guidance and encouraged him to share with me anything that troubles him” Said his father. What a joy it was as the parents promised to work out the relationship with their son and mold him to be a modest young man. There is now greater hope as Samuel has chosen the right path to stay at home with his family. We had a great time to reconcile and fellowship together with the family as we counseled Samuel to be obedient and heed his parents’ guidance.
