In November 93 children were rescued from the streets and vulnerable situations and were reintegrated in families.
In TKW education program, four hundred plus young people completed their secondary and primary school education in November. As we celebrate this milestone in the lives of children who were once on the streets but returned home, we acknowledge education as an essential need for every child development and future success.
Nyeri
Mbui, Shiko and Simo were reunited with their grandparents after months of struggle. We enrolled them back to school and connected them to a local church. The grand parents do not have much to give but they have been offered a happy home to thrive. Mbui- the oldest joined Form 1, Shiko is in Grade 6 and Simo in Pre-primary two. They require constant follow up and support which we are offering and you can join in as we walk with this family.
Nakuru,
We held a meeting with a few parents and the children who are under our education program support to discuss their performance. This was also an initiative to sign agreement forms with the parents on terms of operations to encourage excellence as we work together to see their children maximize their potential.
Kiambu
We held prayer meeting with mothers representing their families due to the challenges affecting them such as poverty, alcoholism and children disappearance from home.

GIVE A FUTURE
In January 2024, we plan to enroll 50 boys and girls into secondary schools. These children come from families that are needy and require our support to continue with their education.
